Girls Prison
Living out our mission of Matthew 25 and "walk this way" I took a group of girls to the girls juvenile prison. Girls ranging for 12 to 18 who have all been incarcerated for felony crime. It was a great day of blessing & heartache. No one.....NO ONE is forgotten by God and we wanted to make sure these girls new that we cared and loved them. We brought a group of Mi Esperanza students and graduates to give hair cuts, manis and pedis. We also brought a yummy lunch, jewelry making and a photo frame activity. We shared the word of God and then showed the word of God! The girls from the team were AMAZING!! I am posting pics but you will notice that we can not show the faces of any of the girls from the prison but you can for sure see what a fun day we had!!!

That is amazing. Melissa emailed me a little about it; she said she would fill me in at home. Even the smallest things to us is huge to them. Thanks for all the pictures and updates. The fabulous work brings tears to my eyes.
