Hello family and friends!

It has been nothing but exciting here and the work that is being accomplished in the name of Jesus is nothing short of amazing!! We have built 7 houses, prepared food for 200 families, been digging footers for a daycare center in San Miguel, visited the hospital everyday, visited the blind school and Jimmy Hughes Orphanage for children victim to gang violence. And there is still more to do..more houses, classrooms and playgrounds, medical clinic!!! shooo you tired yet????!

EVERYONE is working hard and living by the motto of "stop global whining"! We all have MANY stories to tell and I hope to get someone on to write tonight and share with you about today!!!

To everyone still in Honduras: The Birmingham group arrived safely, on time and with luggage!! I miss all of you already. The hour ride home from the airport was especially hard this time. So much "stuff" and so much "waste" here where we live. You are in my prayers and thoughts. I am smiling as I think of you. His Blessings and Joy, Belita (abuela loca). P.S. Lori & Mark, thank you for once again making this all come together.

FAMILY & FRIENDS OF RACHAEL FOWLER (a.k.a. Lola)!!
Hey Everyone,
Things are still going wonderfully here in Honduras!! It's been a busy and exciting 11 days and I can't believe tomorrow (Tuesday) is our last day here to work.....it seems like we just got here! Today our group went back to the village where we worked 5 years ago (it's called Via Nueva Sector 8), and so I was able to see my little boy Alan. But he's actually not much of a "little" boy anymore....he has grown SO MUCH, even since last year! He and his family looked wonderful and it was SOOOO GREAT to see them again, they are so precious! There has been talk of our plans for our last work day tomorrow, but nothing is set in stone yet (it usually never really is here in Honduras!). But I am still hoping to go back to the village where we worked for the past two years (and where we have worked a few days this year), so I can see my kids there one more time and tell them goodbye before I leave....so keep your fingers crossed & please pray I get to do that!! Thanks to all of you for your prayer and thanks to those of you who have sent me messages on the Blog....it has been great to hear from you! I can't wait to share all of my stories and pictures from this incredible adventure...it has been another amazing trip!!
Take care, I love you all and I'll talk to you soon!
Love ALWAYS!

RACHY FOWLER!
Okay, so I'm the worst...I have been the biggest slacker this year with my postings. Although, I may not have on top of my game with writing, not a day has gone by when I haven't thought about you and the group! I cannot believe how many houses you guys have built and how many people you have fed, it is incredible!! You guys accomplish so much in such a short amount of time! Keep up the hard work and high spirits! Thank you for doing what you do! I miss you and can't wait to see you! ~Dana~
